INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR SCIENTIFIC PROJECTS TO BE EXECUTED OR PRESENTED DURING THE EXPEDITION
Just like our hybrid boat, we look for other projects that will leave a legacy to the indigenous and riverside communities, and to the conservation of the Amazonian environment.
In addition to the incredible journey, our expedition will select 20 research projects through an international call for proposals. The projects can be from any area of science and should bring some benefit to the Amazon, preferably that can be shared with local communities for free.
Each project selected will have the support of a grant for the scientist’s travel expenses, in addition to communication, with photos and videos, which will be posted on social media and press releases. The resulting productions of the expedition will credit the scientist and exhibit his testimony, experience, and research.
In each of the 10 encounters with the hybrid boats, two scientists at a time will be welcomed aboard to carry out or demonstrate their research projects.
